This handbook contains 62 engineering procedures and 47 forms. Most of these engineering
procedures are influenced by the author's background in aircraft, aerospace and the computer industry.
The manufacture of printed circuit boards was used as an example throughout the book. Principles
discussed, however, are applicable to all engineering and operational disciplines.
From the Foreword: “...The intent of this handbook is to define, display, and explain the elements
that must be present in any engineering documentation system. The author has developed a powerful
new handbook, complete with step-by-step procedures, that will show you how to develop an
engineering documentation system. Primarily, it will be used as a reference source when there is a question as
to the proper procedure to use...”
Target Audience: Any reader with an interest in, or responsibility for, implementing and
