This book provides comprehensive information about nonwovens, from the raw material fibres through the various manufacturing processes, and into finishing and end-use applications. Nonwoven characteristics and areas of application are discussed in detail, as are the methods used to test raw materials, intermediary process steps, and finished products. There are a number of minor translation anomalies and examples of sloppy editing which can be overlooked in such a comprehensive and well-organized work, but this reader finds the full-color advertising insert following chapter five entirely out of place.
