This handbook presents over 16,000 solubility data points for more than 4,000 organic compounds, providing an extensive compilation of published aqueous solubility data for a wide variety of organic nonelectrolytes and unionized weak electrolytes. Prior to its publication, this data was scattered throughout the academic literature. The book includes data for pharmaceuticals, pollutants, nutrients, herbicides, pesticides, agricultural and industrial compounds, and more. Each entry includes a five-point evaluation reflecting the quality of the reporting of temperature, solute purity, equilibration time/agitation, analysis, and accuracy and/or precision.

For user convenience, all solubility data are converted to moles per liter and grams per liter. Also, reported numerical temperature values are converted to Celsius...”
